Ken's artistry is deeply rooted in his African-Caribbean heritage, drawing vibrant inspiration the rhythms of music, his personal journey, and the diverse cultures he encounters. Each reflects a fusion of experiences and influences, offering unique perspective that resonates with his audience. Through his work, Ken invites you to explore the rich tapestry of life and the connections that unite us all.


Ken hails from Cambridge, Ontario, but his roots trace to the beautiful island of Dominica in the West Indies thanks to his parents. This diverse background enriches his perspective and experiences, Canadian and Caribbean influences into his unique identity. He graduated with honours from the Art Centre of Technical School in Toronto, Ontario. Ken's artwork has been exhibited throughout Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean, earning acclaim in both private and public collections. Additionally, his books and artwork have the interest of television audiences. With a passion for storytelling and a vibrant imagination, he has illustrated over 15 children's books, captivating young readers with his enchanting artwork. His dedication to the craft has not gone unnoticed, as several of his books have received prestigious awards, celebrating his talent and creativity in the world of children's literature. as well as on television.
